Do You Have Dirty Ducts? Call SERVPRO of Bordentown/Pemberton

7/7/2016 (Permalink)

Ventilation systems can often be the biggest culprit of poor indoor air quality because many people allow HVAC systems to operate for some time without much attention or upkeep.  Your HVAC system could be circulating odors, dust, and other contaminants throughout your property.

A routine part of SERVPRO of Bordentown/Pemberton's service is inspecting the heating, ventilation and air conditioning unit (HVAC).  Keeping the HVAC system and ductwork clean can potentially extend the life span of the equipment by allowing it to operate at peak condition, which can in turn save you money and give you cleaner air to breathe.

SERVPRO of Bordentown/Pemberton will inspect your HVAC system and ductwork and make recommendations about the best way to address any indoor air quality concerns.  This inspection can provide peace of mind on the health of your HVAC system and ductwork.  Benefits of servicing your HVAC unit include:

  • Helps to restore peak energy efficiency.
  • May help to eliminate offensive odors.
  • Helps reduce the potential for mold growth.

For more information on duct cleaning, or to set up a written inspection and estimate, call SERVPRO of Bordentown/Pemberton today at (609) 894-8555.

When your documents are important, let us try to save them!

DID YOU KNOW THAT SERVPRO OF BORDENTOWN/PEMBERTON OFFERS DOCUMENT DRYING SERVICES?

When our customers experience damages, time and again they are concerned about the irreplaceable, sentimental items such as mementos and photographs, or important documents that are not backed up on any computer.

When your valuable documents, including photographs, are damaged by water or smoke, extreme caution should be taken to help ensure the damage does not destroy the document. Although some documents may not be restored to pre-damage condition, SERVPRO Franchise Professionals can save a great deal and help minimize additional damage.

Depending on the type of documents and the level of water damage, we have five options for the restoration of documents:

  1. Air Drying
  2. Dehumidification
  3. Freezer Drying
  4. Vacuum Freeze Drying
  5. Vacuum Thermal Drying

SERVPRO® offers restoration through sublimation, turning a solid into a gas and skipping the liquid stage.  In other words, we freeze documents to preserve them, place them in a box in a vacuum chamber that is cooled to -40 degrees, and then apply heat to the bottom of the box to turn the ice directly to water vapor.  The drying chamber can dry almost 800 cubic feet of documents in each cycle.  The standard run time for a load of that size is 4-8 days, depending on the nature of the items and the amount of moisture in them.

We offer cleaning, digitizing, sterilization through Gamma Irradiation (killing mold and bacteria), deodorizing and trimming (for damage caused by fire or soot), refile jacketing, and certified destruction services.  The drying chamber team is available 24/7, 365 days per year, just like the SERVPRO of Bordentown/Pemberton team.  The drying chamber team is Master HIPAA certified to protect information found in your documents.

SERVPRO® has performed a tremendous amount of work, drying out everything from financial records and engineering drawings to photo albums and vintage Barbie doll boxes. We ship your documents to our team, who are available to assist with any questions or concerns.  Our drying chamber, located in Gallatin, TN, offers restoration services for any and all kinds of documents, whether it’s a family bible or photographs at a residential water loss, or legal documents, medical files, or government papers at a commercial water loss to make it like it never even happened.
